Does anyone out there know how many gallons are in a cubic foot. I'm trying to figure out the volume of a cylinder in gallons for a hydraulic resevoir. Thanks

Yea it's close, off a few 100/1000's, but if you can measure that close you wouldn't be asking. Check it out:

The above post is right 1 cubic foot = 7.48051094869842 liquid US gallons Also there are 231 cubic inchs in a gallon. Used this all the time when building tanks.
