This truck was a N.C. STATE Truck factory color is Yellow
( it is lots of colors now ) the paint code on the warranty door plate was left blank . My dad bought this truck in 1979
Have you installed headers on your 65 f100? I have the same year/engine configuration and wondered if yours has headers?
Year: 1961
Model: F250
Vin: Haven't had a chance to get it
Flareside or Styleside: Flare (with the step box) Long Box
Engine: 223
Trans: T18 I think
Drivetrain: 4x4
Special Notes: ex military truck. Has some cool military mods like beefed up front suspension and winch box. Canadian truck
Unfortunately almost every post in this thread is too skimpy on details to be of much use in a registry. A bunch of XXXs or ***s in place of numbers isn't of much use to know the VIN and most I've looked at don't have the rest of the info from the warranty plates. Not sure why that info would even be collected. I have a 1961-1966 spreadsheet with hundreds of trucks but I have details on almost all of them. This thread isn't much help in my opinion.
I have no idea what I am doing but I am trying to reply to all men who recently went to Kansas City to show their trucks. My husband, Ross, passed away in Laramie, WY on the way to the car show. He died doing what he loved and that was showing his 65 Ford PU. Thank you.

My belated condolences to you, Ma'am. May your husband Rest In Peace.....
Hopefully his '65 Ford PU was able to stay in the family and may it cause them to think of your husband often.....
