running cold
always... 1989 F250 with 460 EFI.
happened a few days ago. the temp. gauge doesn't ever get out from the lower-than-operating-temperature range.
I think the T-stat failed in the open position and the coolant constantly circulates, keeping it cool.
What's the recommended temp. for a new T-stat? Who should the maker be? Ford OEM, or will aftermarket stuff work like Advance Auto parts?
