Engine Build Date???

Engine Build Date???
I know this has been discussed, but when I searched for "engine build date" the pictures of the label on the driver side were out of date. I can see two labels. One is very visable on the side,a and the other is on top and hard to see. What will the numbers look like for let say a Jan 1, 2004 build date? Would it be 010104 or something like that? My dad and I both have 04 F350's and are trying to figure out when the trucks were build. He is having difficulties with his 04 that was the replacement for the 03 that Ford bought back. So far, I have had no problems. Thanks for the info. Levi
