Wire Chafing

2004 F-350 4X4 PSD: Thanks to all for the advice and input regarding wiring harness chafing issues. Using your feedback, and TSB's and SSM's from the TSB/Recall link on the home page, I was able to browbeat the dealer to do a "hands-on" inspection of the wiring harness. They pulled the appropriate TSB's and the SSM, but the tech found nothing out of place at the harness. He went further and checked every wire he could find. He found a chafed wire leading to the No. 7 injector. It has rubbed it self raw against a heat shield under which it ran. He "repaired" the wire? and bent the heat shield up just in case a gremlin repositions the wire. Again, many thanks. This site is now required reading.
