Hi, I'm new here and man am I glad I found this place!

I am trying to install a roof mount LCD screen for a video system
and found the screen I bought does not fit the dome light very well.
The screen base is about 2 inches less than the width of the dome light fixture.
I am looking for some kind of trim plate to use but I thought I would ask here for any suggestions?

I imagine any suitably sized electrical or plumbing blanking plate could adapted for use. These come in either plastic or steel versions. You could either spray paint to match or visit a salvage yard and obtain some vinyl panel covering or headliner material and cover the plate for a more professional look.
