Unhappy confirmation : compression test done

Hi

We had surmised that the engine was toast due to rising oil consumption and blow by..now with a great deal of pressure behind the smoke.

however, the compression test, revealed pressures ranging from 400 to 430 had one cylinder..number 6 at 150. how sad due to the previous owner's bad choices for filtration and over all negligence.

i have a used engine on hand and will test that weds. i hope it has good numbers as it reportedly has only 118k miles on it.

Bummer. I am considering new injectors but want to do a compression test first. I'm scared. I have lots o' smoke from my CCV bypass.
