Didn't post here because I'm trying to get thing together for a trip home to Carolina. I've gotta put a water pump in the ol' Crown Vic before I go and get things settled here, the truck is tore apart in the driveway, and now we have Ivan heading our way...

I'll be happy to bring whatever is needed. It sounds like a big cookout, so I'll see if I can find that awesome baked beans recipe...can also bring lettuce/tomato/onion.

(Beer is a given!)

 

This thing better be happening!!! I'm looking forward to alot of food, fun and good fellowship with my fellow Ford Truck drivers!!! Plus I've already reserved a picnic shelter. We got the only one they had open, Shelter #3. So everyone, I guess just brink whatever you want cooked on the grill to eat and whatever fixings you want. I will bring the cake. I also plan on bringing some hamburgers and hotdogs. I'll bring the charcoal also. So let's get this thing planned and going!!!!!

Thanks Michelle- we are kinda in a bind. Between fri. night away football game and having kids over after the game, things are really tight. With only one vehicle and Mudflaps being a band mom, we won't have time.
During football season the kids usually come here for food so my duty is to the kids.
We will arise to make it up next time.

Sorry for not posting, work has kept me busy (most of my netsurfing occurs there). I expressed interest in going but according to my calendar I am schedualed to be out of town that weekend. I appologise and look forward to meeting you all at the next meeting.

Isnt this gonna b a family event? ladyfire mentioned beer, is it absolutely necessary? how bout keepin this a family thing? i hope so, seein on how im only 18. and im bringin my family 2.

 

If there is any beer there,they best keep it hid because it not allowed in State Parks.
YES its a family thing,SO bring your family and watch my 3 year old salt and pepper the cake Michelle brings!! LOL{he did it at the last M&G anyway}

 

The last one was a family thing and this one will be also. Don't worry Big Blue we had beer at the last one and the kids never knew it. It was kept very discreet. Besides like GreyRanger said it's illegal in the park.

I guess the time you arrive is up to you. I plan on being there between 10 and 11. So everyone post what time they want to be there and we will go from there.

i wont know if i am gonna be able to come or not till about a week before, but i will try to bring stuff if i can, just gettin there now is gonna be a challenge. the beast wont be back on the road by that point i dont think, so i might have no choice but to come on the bike if i can at all.ill just shoot to be there when ever yall decide to come, and i will let yall know before hand if ima be able to come or not. sorry about all of that.


yo BigBlue 92, dont sweat it bro, im only 20, and i was at the last one, and you couldnt tell that anything was goin on, so dont sweat it. the kids were havin a blast, and they prolly coulda cared less if somethin was goin on, just how many in ya family are ya bringin, and how old? just curious, not a big deal!
