I asked this on 2 other forums here at FTE........
If the EGR valve, O2 sensor, MAP, fuel pressure regulator, throttle position sensor, air bypass valve are bad or going bad, will they always set a code?

Not always but usually I think, especially 1996 and newer. But there are procedures to test them all.
I do know for sure that sometimes things can go bad or get weak and not set a code, especially 1995 and older.
