Welcome to AZ and have fun in Kingman in the summer. It is normally about 115+, but you have the river. Rain in AZ ia a funny thing. We average a total of 7+ inches a year.

Don't bag on VW... I had a 71 Bug. It was older than me and bullet proof. I loved driving that thing in the summer. $50 you could fix anything on that car no problem and gas was cheap.

Welcome to AZ, and don't let anyone give you guff about the Del Sol. Hondas are great little cars and the roll down back window is really cool. Thanks for saving gas, there's more for the rest of us, like my 5.4 Triton pig!

Welcome to AZ, I moved to Kingman from Miami, Fl. were the weather is always 98 degrees and 130% humidity even in the winter (what winter). Trust me the 115 degrees isn't all that bad as opposed to the Southeast weather. Congrats on the Del Sol I like those cars too. They have lots of hop ups for them.

actualy it was today. I'm over in Mesa (south-east of phx). So is Mike (5.4) and Matt (Silverbullet). I really dont have any idea where anyone else is. I think Andrewdrice is near north Phoenix, or north of Phoenix, something like that.

Today was probably the last time I'll be going to 4xing for a while... maybe I can pull it off Thursday, but I will probablu be busy the first half of the day over in Avondale (west of phoenix) and I suspect most everyone else will be working.

I'm giving serious thought to going and checking out a spot I saw Elsworth north of Brown. It was kinda near some houses, so I probably shouldn't this time of night.

Welcome to Arizona Steve. I think you will come to love it. I moved here from Montana over a year ago. No damn snow to shovel and no grass to mow. Yup...it's warm in the summer but a dry heat and easy to acclimate to even for a guy who has lived in Montana and Alaska most of my life. To the guy who calls his 5.4 a pig...how do you drive that thing? I took my 04 SC two wheel drive 5.4 to Alaska and back right out of the box. Got 19 mpg up and 23 back. I didn't think that was too bad . I am in Lake Havasu City, Arizona by the way. A bit warmer than Kingman in the summer and far less traffic than the Phoenix, Tucson areas. And then there is always the lake here when it gets warm...

What's this spot Shawn? If you go a little more north onto McKellips there are some trails, not sure as far as ownership but I've seen plenty of people on them and myself once a little bit.

Welcome to AZ, I too moved here from the midwest and won't go back.

Welcome Steve.
I moved to Chandler in '97 from NH. I love the heat, and the fact that I dont have to check the weather hourly. <haha> Good Luck with the car shopping!

W7AX - I dont know who said their 5.4 was a pig but I will go ahead and say mine sure is. You got 19-23 out of the box... wait till you have 92K on it. I get constant 11mpg no matter what I drive in.

Ellsworth 4 wheeling? Better hurry up before the retards tear down the desert to put up more ugly houses!!

im thinking it might not have been elseworth, What's that road that you take north to get to Bush Highway? it was on that road, just north of brown on the left hand side. There was a dirt trail that just kinda led off into a big lot of desert.
