Used Hypertech III ?

I am looking at get the Hypertech III, and I found a used one on E-bay. The guy said that since he returned his truck to the stock setting, this programmer can be used on another rig. Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the programmer would marry the computer it was first programmed to, hence not allowing anyone else to use it.

Anyway, it is a good price, and if what he says is true, then I will get it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Tuners are only married so long as the vehicle is programmed. Once you return the vehicle to stock programming they unlock.

By the way Mr. Moderator, where in Hotlanta are you? I'm in Snellville.

Snellville as well (actually, just about in Rockdale county but I have a Snellville address). Ford Truck Enthusiasts, Inc. and the Motorhaven shop are based in Snellville. Give us a call some time and stop by!
