egr, why replace?
the truck has been running ok and now that it isnt running i have been lookin over everything and discoverd that the egr tube is rusted through in 3 places it wasnt even really attached to anything and the vacuum hose that i beleive goes to it has been disconnected and plugged for years obviously
so should i rig up a way to replace the egr system or will it be ok without it
also i cant seem to find where it connected to the intake manifold its a tight squeeze to feel around back there but if it isnt already i need to plug the hole up so can anyone tell me what/where to search for it
also anything special i should do for the computer? it didnt throw any egr codes the last tiem i checked them
