Memory problems???
I have a Xplorer Sport 4.0 OHV 4WD with 35K miles on it!
Recently i used a scan tool in a Ford dealer and checked every sensor like o2, MAF, IAC,TPS etc, and they´re Ok!
I use Mobil1 synthetic oil, double plats Autolite sparks, K&N filter in a drilled air box, tires in 32PSI but only gets 12-14MPG.
If i disconnect battery terminals and erase computer memory , MPG goes up to 17-18 for the next full tank!!
reaching around 260 miles with 15 gal!!
but next gas refill and driving like a grandma MPG drops again to 12-14!!
What could be happening???
