I wouldn't take the service reps word for it. Something is not right. I would wonder about the EGR, EBT or VGT sensors and valve. Does your turbo still whistle under moderate load in 2-3 gears?

I have to mash on the accelerator a little bit in 2 & 3 but the turbo is still whistling. should I try unhooking my EGR valve this weekend and see how it runs?
