How to Disable.....
1. Turn the ignition switch ON, but do not start the engine.
2. Wait for the safety belt light to go OFF (takes about 1-2 minutes)
3. The following steps must be completed within 60 SECONDS.
Buckle, then un-buckle the driver's belt 3 times, ending with the belt un-buckled.
Turn on the headlights, and then turn off the headlights.
Buckle, then un-buckle the driver's belt 3 times, ending with the belt un-buckled.
The Safety Belt light should turn on for 3 seconds.
Within SEVEN seconds of the light turning OFF, quickly buckle and unbuckle the belt.
This will disable the belt minder if it is currently enabled.
NOTE: Confirmation of the disabling of the Belt Minder is provided by flashing the belt light 4 times per second for 3 seconds.
Now you have disabled that annoying sound!
