I suppose it would. It describes the procedure in the owners manual...check there.

The feature is called Beltminder, in case you have trouble finding it in the manual.

Seems to have worked for me. Thanks for posting it and saving me looking through the manual.

Ding ! Ding ! Ding !

2004 F-150 Seat Belt Minder
<HR style="COLOR: #666666" SIZE=1>Hi Everyone ,
Just thought all should if you want ! Do at your own risk ! We all need seat belts, but not that annoying sound !

Vinnie M.

How to Disable.....

1. Turn the ignition switch ON, but do not start the engine.
2. Wait for the safety belt light to go OFF (takes about 1-2 minutes)
3. The following steps must be completed within 60 SECONDS.
Buckle, then un-buckle the driver's belt 3 times, ending with the belt un-buckled.
Turn on the headlights, and then turn off the headlights.
Buckle, then un-buckle the driver's belt 3 times, ending with the belt un-buckled.
The Safety Belt light should turn on for 3 seconds.

Within SEVEN seconds of the light turning OFF, quickly buckle and unbuckle the belt.

This will disable the belt minder if it is currently enabled.

NOTE: Confirmation of the disabling of the Belt Minder is provided by flashing the belt light 4 times per second for 3 seconds.

Now you have disabled that annoying sound!
