I currently own a '02 Explorer with satin nickel alloy wheels. I am looking for the OEM steel chrome wheels. Any ideas on where I could find those (new or used). If your '02 Explorer has the chrome steel wheels and you are looking for the satin nickel alloys, maybe we can trade? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry I don't have the Steel Chrome wheels for ya... but did have a question.

In the brochures they make the Satin Nickel finish look like it has a Gold tint to it. My 02 EB does not look like this. Have you seen any of the "Satin Nickels" that actually have that goldish tint?

Barely a goldish tint. We felt the same way when we got this vehicle. Where you can see a slight difference is when you park next to a vehicle with true "silver" painted alloys.

 

O.k. Well it was not just me being color blind then. My next thought... is how do I know I did not end up with the painted ones?

There's a set advertised on ebay, search by explorer wheels. But get out the checkbook, they are 800 smackers, ouch! Jay
