94 Explorer needs door pull!

94 Explorer needs door pull!

Have 94 Explorer, tan interior. Daughter pulled front passenger door shut and ended up with handle in her hand! Just broke right off. My Ford Service place said this part of door panel is hard to find - is this true? Where could I get this and possibly replace it myself?

Here is a link to an E-bay auction for the left side handle. I know you need the right, but you may find these suppliers can also get the right side. Just go to e-bay and do a search for something like "explorer door handle" and check the auction items out. I have seen both left and right there in the past but no rights came up on the search at this time. Replacing is is as easy as removing the door panel and a few screws.

Thanks for the tip on Ebay - but, "been there, done that"! I even emailed the guy who has driver side panels on auction and he will be getting some passenger side ones up for auction in a couple of months, but in gray, not tan. I'll keep looking!
