Timing Light
I would like to get a timing light for use on my truck...

Is that a good one that will work for my truck? Will it work for carbarated engines as well? What about newer vehicles?

Should be fine. I think the timing lights with the Inductive pickup like that one will work on most anything. It clips around the spark plug wire and to the battery for power, so I don't think it knows carbed from injected.
