First to Second shift
Seems like when I accelerate and let of the gas right as the truck shifts from first to second, It acts like I am putting the brakes on. It only does it for a second and then it is ok. I think it might be the tranny causing this but not sure.
When I checked the transmission fluid the other day it was a little dark and smelled slightly burnt. The trany was flushed and fluid replaced by Ford about 25k ago. I was thinking of doing it again.
Just wondering if anybody has had simialer problems or any idea of what it could be.
I have a 97 f150, 4x4, 4.6L, Automatic, 110,00K on truck
