Transgo shift kit E4OD
Hello
I would like to know if using the front pump parts of this kit will be worth the the trouble. The kit is Transgo SK E4OD the tranny is in my 94 F150 4X4 with the camper pac/hevy half. 122000 miles no problems with the trans but I hear it is my week point on this truck.

Don't know about the Transgo kit. The E4OD was improved over the years. I have an older 1990 in my E350 motorhome. Working fine at 73000 miles. I have Transcommand electronic shift module (from BanksPower.com) on my E4OD. Installed in one hour. Works great. Firms up the shifts when under load, but keeps it mellow when you are takin it easy.
Go to BaumannEngineering.com and read up on the E4OD. Very educational site on Ford automatic trannies.
Keep your tranny fluid fresh with regular changes, say every 30,000 miles.
