I have a 95 tbirb with a 4.6 on occasion the oil pressure changes (not from Idle to drive ) and I was thinking I would like to run somthing thru it to flush out the gunk(106k)
What do you think?
What would you use?

I had a two 95's at one time but wrecked one a while back pics are on my website. Those cars are notorious for bad oil pressure sending units and bad oil pressure gauges. The guys over at tccoa should be able to help you out.

If you run an engine flush through it make sure you add some stop leak (Eagle?) with the oil when you refill. The solvent in the flush dries out the seals. Unless you've replaced them, a 95 4.6 will have the "bad" valve stem seals that have a habit of shrinking so the stop leak won't hurt them either.

Kind of an uneducated guess but I don't believe gunk has anything to do with low oil pressure. And a '95 T-Bird with a 4.6 should run hot enough to keep the sludge to a minimum. I could be wrong but I don't think so.
