Congratulations!!
My neighbor got reimbursed 30 years full medical retirement from the US Army. He may be terminal, and it is every way their fault.......but he got a new car, and we bbq'd very well for a long time.

Enjoy that check, make things best you can.

Trail rider, that's what she has been receiving since April 2003.
First LTD, Then CPP cut in , Now it will be WCB & CPP.

The good thing is, not only will she get her WCB cheque monthly but the Gov't cheque as well.

I assume you never read the link.

She had a finger amputated, suffered 3 strokes, & had open heart surgery to replace the aortic valve.
She will be on heart medication forever.
She will never recover from the stroke damage ( right hand, left arm & hand, her ability to preceive different things correctly will never return,*she bumps into things on her lower right side*)
Her stamina is way low as well.

No kidding !
Everyday is a challenge.

Needing help while doing dishes, cooking, cleaning, writing things without a special pen, outside stuff, bumping into things, Hurting her arms & legs & bruising, Giving 3 vials of blood every Thursday, Mood shifts, No womenopause yet,she can't drive, she has trouble with Money when paying for things & walking away without change, Tries to carry things like coffee, muffins & money in her hands *without a tray*.

The list goes on

Dennis, that is a terrible ordeal that you and Michelle have had to go through. Thank God she had someone like you beside her to push this thing through. Keep on 'em and make sure they follow through on everything they have promised you! Good job on perseverance.
