I'm sorry to have to ask (and feeling rather ignorant), but what's a "10k resistor"? I've heard it referred to many times, and now I can't take not knowing any longer!

1996 F350 4x4 5spd 4.10 gears
14mpgcity 19mpghwy (11mpg @ 15000lb gross @ 65mph)

Only complaints are lack of room for future children(std cab) and lack of performance parts like the SD guys have

Can't complain about a 6000lb truck turning in better milage than a v6 minitruck

Thumbs up

I bought my '95 new, and it's still better than a lot of new trucks IMHO.

Just bought my 1997 Ford F-250 Powerstroke from a 70 year old guy today for $4,500 and it has 121,456 Hwy miles and the truck is in mint condition i'm loving it already but i'm still keeping my old 1989 ford f-250 7.3 diesel (312,550 miles)and still runs like a raped ape.

'96 F-250

It's not mine, but my granddad's.
I'm not old enough to legally drive one yet. (I'm 14.) But I said legally.
Wouldn't take a gas truck if somebody gave me a new one free.
Well I might take it, but I would trade it in on an old PSD as soon as I got it.

my first truck was the 97 f350 crew cab psd 4x4!!! I never go halfway.Bought it with 189000, got 210000 on it now and get 17 mpg. I love this truck and will never be without a diesel again. I mean a FORD when I say diesel!
