95 F-150 Driveshaft Problems

I have a 95 F-150 with a 5.0L and auto transmission. The problem is I am hearing a noise from the rear 2 piece driveshaft and it sounds like it is coming from where the two driveshafts meet and are suspended by a bracket. It seems like the bearing on the bracket has worn out and needs replacement. Anyone else ever have this problem? How easy of a fix is it? How would I go about fixing this? Thanks.

Thats called a driveshaft carrier bearing. They can be picked up at any automotive store, and a haynes manual would be a good investment. It'll teach you how to fix pretty much everything on these trucks, including your carrier bearing

And Welcome to FTE Kevin!
