transfer case?
i have a 99 navigator, after warming up if i am accelerating at a steady pace or under a load such as up a hill trying to keep speed there is a grumpling noise from under the truck. maybe the trans chain slapping the housing or something else in the trans. has anyone else had this sort of problem and if so what did you have done. any help would be great

it worked
yes thats what it sounds like, i changed the fluids today and the noise is gone for now. thanks for the help. i just recently got the truck and no idea when it was done last. dealer wanted me to put trans case in....thanks again
