As an old fart I like classic rock probably the best,( Yes, ELP, Beatles, Stones, Hendrix)...
but also like some new music, (Jamarequi (sp?), Dirty Vegas)...
as well as jazz, (Cannonball Adderley, Jimmy Smith, Lee Morgan)...
blues, (BB King, Hendrix, Muddy Waters, old Fleetwood Mac)...
techno, (Orbital)...
world, (AfroCelt Sound System)...
I'm not into country, but like Southern Rock, (Poco, Doobies, Firefall)...
And I don't consider Rap to be music.

Mostly country, but I dont stay on one station too long, I just go 'til I find a good song (classic rock, new rock, pop... whatever). I play all sorts of woodwind instruments (sax's, clarinette...etc...), I also play piano and a little guitar.

I voted for Country, but for those who don't know by now, I don't much care for a lot of today's "country"... I like the music that most of our grandparents called "country".

And of course, you know I have to say it again...

Real country music died in 1962.

That's pretty much the Gods of Rock, Trucksforever. Let me guess, you are 42-47 years old??

The old stuff is good, not too many new bands with the right sound. Collective Soul, Rob Zombie, Ynwgie Malmsteen in G3 is awesome.

If you don't play an instrument, it's not music. That rules out Rap. You can't grab your crotch if you are slingin' a Gibson.

I voted for country music since that is what I listen to mostly. But I do listen to a little Metallica and AC/DC and a few others. Rap just sucks. As far as country, there are a bunch of artists and songs that i don't just can't stand.

Alabama, one of the greatest country groups is coming to town for their Farewell tour this weekend and I really wish I could go, but unfortunately I will be working.

For all you Pantera fans-- have you noticed that Spongebob Squarepants uses a lot of Pantera for background music in some of the cartoons? Strange but true!

I like ALL kind of music. every single genre (except orcestra and big band stuff) country, pop, rap, 80's rock, and I am a born again metal head. I even like the NEW METALICA!!!! I think bands have to change so their music does not get repetitive and boring, but everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and I know many people who dont like the new metalica, so no offence.
