i apologize for not posting in such a long time, i live in west plains , thats about a.5 hours south of springfield.....i finally finished up my 1990 f150 truck last year, new tread, carpet, refinished door panels and made some custom carpeted pcs to go below the door panels and made a custom carpeted pc to go behind the seat....did a complete overhaul of the 4.9 and tried out my hooker headers for this beast of a motor.....unfortunately the headers woulda cost me 400 bucks to have pipes installed, so i went back to factory.... 125 bucks later i had new pipes on it....upgraded the stereo with a head unit and 4 new speakers... and then i put my old tool box in the back of it.... update to todays info, it has been sitting in front of my house for about 3-4 months now, its a thirsty monster i cant afford to drive every day . .. and now im thinking of selling it....i found a 1968 fairlane 500 fast back that is a big time fixxer upper and i want it lol.... i have some questions about the 4.9 engine in my truck so ill go post the Q's in the right spots lol, PEACE!

Missouri chapter check in.
Bachelor MO, (Auxvasse Area). 45 minutes East of Columbia. I just Joined the forum but i've had Ford's off and on since I started Driving. I had an '86 F-250 'Bits & Pieces' 6.9L diesle, crew cab, 4 speed, 4X4 when i was 17. I sold it because at that young, it was hard to keep up with the rising fuel. A few other's not worth mentioning, but now I found my dream truck. It's not in the best shape, but it will be coming along before I know it.

mid-mo checking in
That's no joke, and with winter just around the corner, i'm just trying to get it running and i'll start on the interior and some decent tires. Once it start's warming up, i'm dragging out the soda blaster and getting to work.
