V10 Pulling Grades
I have a '99 F350 Super Crew. I'm also hauling a 5th wheel. I've put on over 7000 miles from Atlanta,Ga to Arizona and not had any trouble, but I've not really gone up any major grades. My questions is when should I shift down to 2nd gear when taking a steep grade? Till now I've only taken Overdrive off when going up hills. Thanks for the info, I'm going to need it since I'm leave for lower Alaska next week.
