Small block question

I have a 1971 F100 4x4. I was going to swap out the 360 for a 390 but due to recent gas price hikes I am more inclined to put a small block in it. Does anyone know what 70's model and years came with the 302 or 351 windsor?? And if I swap a small block in what mods are needed?.... I believe the perches and mounts. Also is there a c6 transmission made for the 302/351w??? I would like to put an automatic transmission in too. I would like the c6/np205 combo.All help greatly appreciated.

Well that did not take long......I decided to keep the 390 FE I love the FE's too much to get rid of it. If I build it right I can easily get around 15mpg ...thanks all.

any 302/351W combo will fit and yes there is a C6 for those engines, only difference is the bellhousing shape and bolt pattern, but the guts are the same.
