Rear Diff. Code

Can anyone help me out. I want to know the ratio and if the diff. is a trak-lok unit. The numbers on the housing tag are:
S-113-A
L 73 10 2 6L 16

It belongs to a 97 F-250 4+4. Thanx in advance scprjamie.

you are missing a couple of numbers, but can still be deciphered. You have 3.73 gears with limited slip. A sterling 10.25 axle.

For some reason I have been noticing a trend. I looked at the rear on our 2003 and saw the same thing. The first number in the gear ratio seems to always be hidden under the bolt the tag is attatched to.

Fordman I was told to determine whether I have limited-slip or positive traction is to lift the rear end off of the ground and spin one tire. I did this and both of them turned the same direction. From what I understand this means I have trac loc. Does it sound like that is the case. As far as the #'s go these were all of the #'s on the tag. Thanks for your response.

you do have trac-loc because there is a l in the gear ratio code on your tag
it should read 3l73 but the 3 is covered up.
