plug gap
Hi guys, I am new here and I have thoroughly enjoyed the input to this forum. This will be my first question here and I am sure far from my last. I am reviving an I6 and have opposing info on the proper plug gap. Under the hood I noticed a revision sticker from Ford dealership in 1988. It claims that the gap be revised to .054.....anyone have any input on this?

For an '86, normally I'd go with .044", but the dealership must have had a reason for changing it in your truck (perhaps the coil was changed by the dealership), so I'd go with what it says under the hood.
