About a year ago I bought a 97 xlt expy 85,000. Ever since I bought it there has been a terrible squeeeeeeeeking noise in the front end when I turn at slow speeds. I havent had it checked out yet, but does anyone have any ideas? It hasnt affected performance at all.

I found that when my Expy hit about 90K miles, it started that squeaking. By injecting a small dab of grease with a needle fitting into the rubber boots covering the drag link, tie rod ends, etc. in the front suspension, the squeaking stopped. And hasn't come back. It's now at 126K miles. Ten minutes work, about $.50 worth of grease, $2.00 for the needle fitting for the grease gun.
