engine upgrades

I would like to upgrade my engine someday, need some advice.

I like the look of the Banks packages, which one do you have experince with. Banks has four levels for the 97 PSD starting with the Git Kit and up to the PowerPack. Occasional tow of 8 - 9 K# toybox, future fifth wheel, maybe 10 - 11 K#...

Start with the git kit and work your way up if you still want more hp and torque. Banks makes good products, but they are a little expensive. I found that their products bolt up like oem parts.

Will they swap out the "chip" for the next upgrade step, or will I end up with spare parts?

When you go with the next upgrade, remove your old chip and send it back and they free of charge will burn your chip to match the upgrade you purchased.

banks is definetly the way to go. I have been very happy with their products. And as bender said - buy what you can afford now and add on later.

In the situation where you dont want to buy the next stage, they will burn your orginal chip to up the hp and torque. It will cost you $40.00 that includes shipping.

Figured that I would go with the Stinger (2nd stage), because it comes with the tail pipe and Trans command for my auto trans. Probably was a good first choice.
