I did not see dual exhaust on the truck. The dealer does not have to install the tuner or flash anything. If the actual computer is to be flashed, probably yes the dealer. But to install this kit, the dealer does not need to be involved.

The exhaust is trubo back and a great looking installation.

I have to have this setup as well.

We all await your discovery. Hope they email you soon.

I watched the show yesterday as well and went to Banks site, I couldn't find the system on the site at all. Sounds like they gave Trucks a Prototype on the basis that it would be in production by the time the show aired. Maybe in Banks final testing they have run into some snags. It will be interesting to see what they have to say.

I just got off the phone with Banks, 2 minutes ago. I can get the same kit that they installed on the show, IC included for $3247.38 shipped to my door here in Cabot, Arkansas. For the Crew Cab, short bed, 4x4 with Auto Trans.

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

As for the dual exhaust thing on the truck. The system that was lying on the floor is the system that is included with the truck. The one that was installed on the truck was an aftermarket Cat Back Dual..... That's why he didn't show underneath the truck. (I was kinda befuddled when he said that it was kinda hard to see underneath a 6.0l.....)

I figured as much.>>> he Glossed over the install of the exhaust waaayyy to fast even for TV...

I was confused after reading posts about removing crossmembers etc that he says...Oldsystem drops out this slides in 1-2-3 and said ITS TOO HARD to see under the truck...LOL...It was on a lift and the truck was SET LOW ON THE LIFT**I was like PUSH THE BUTTON and Raise the truck**..

I mean I saw the dodge build up and he showed PART by Part the exhaust going in...ON theSame LIFT ...LOL

Seems like Banks "missed the boat" if you will by not having all the stuff worked out before the airing.... Hell even pics of the prototype and prices would have been smart...

My only real issue with the 6 gun system is BASICALLY you are Tossing your warranty in the garbage... That would be very time consuming to UNDO should something mess up... and ford can easy say everything downstream is affected by it thus your entire powertrain warranty is void... and I certainly would not want to UNDO all of that stuff eveytime I needed to service the vehicle....UGH!!!

But the power was awesome looking...It would be interesting to see PROOF via dyno numbers/ 1/4 MILE TIMES....Plus it would be even coler to see the kit with optional T76 ot small frame T88 turbo...

I just talked to Victor at Banks he said the dual exhaust on the test truck was a prototype of a Banks Exhaust and it does not come with the kit. He also said the intercooler was not available until June but I could order one now. The 138hp and 231ftlb increase was at the wheels.

pdchico - I have the show on vhs, but I can't make a copy. I could take it somewhere if you want.

Wow...that is expensive. $6000+ option for the 6.0L and automatic trans...and now add $3200+. I like the system and all, but just cannot justify those costs.

$$$ It's all about the $$$.

That price he quoted me was WITH the Intercooler. That price was for EVERYTHING that Stacy installed on the show......I made DAMN sure of that before I hung up the phone. And he told me that I could get the Intercooler the day that I ordered my kit.

dawg - I am just telling you what I was told, twice. The price we got was about the same, but Victor 1-800-601-8072 said they don't have a dual exhaust for the 6.0 and the intercooler is not ready.

That's cool. If it isn't ready, then it isn't ready. Truck should be fine with out it.......right?

So, from what you were told, what all do you get for the $1999? I might be able to get a buddy at a local speed shop here to build me an IC for cheaper anywho.

This could be a better option for me anyway. The wife isn't too pleased about the $3300 price tag.
