stainless tailpipe?
My tailpipe turned dark grey and has little tiny spots of rust on it with only 1000 miles on it(it used to be silver in color when new). f250, cc, 4x4 , v10. Fords sales brochure calls it a stainless steel muffler system built to last. My 2001 1500 suburbqan has 30,000 miles on it and the muffler is still the silver color it was the day I bought it. Do some of you guys have the same experienc? It appears that the steel used on my ford's muffler is sub par to the steel quality on my suburban. Is this normal or do I have a bad batch tailpipe?
