Thinking of buying a car/truck lift/hoist?

I dont want to sound like a commercial but I came across a pretty good deal for a 2 post car lift. They are just like the lifts professional mechanics use and have a 10,000lb capacity. If I buy 6 I get a discount. I want one for myself and I would sell the other 5 for under $2,000 plus I will deliver them for free if you dont live too far from me. I live in the Sioux City area.Let me know if you are interested.

3 minor questions

What would be the price if you bought one?

What would be the discount?

What are you going to sell them for?

I would be intrested if the price is right.

The lifts come from www.customhydraulic.com They are out of Indiana near Indianapolis. List price is 1,750. I just got a shipping quote of 342 to my house for one. If you drive there and pick it up you have to pay sales tax which adds 105 plus fuel costs. For me I figured its about the same price as shipping costs. So if I buy 1 for myself Id be into it for about 2100. If I buy 6 the lift costs me 1695 small discount but the shipping is free! Since I want one for myself and Im easy to deal with I would sell and deliver (within 100 miles of me) for 1850 or you could pick it up at my place for 1800. Thats cash money no sales tax and you would save around 300 if you bought one on your own. Im not trying to get rich on this deal and theres no catch. I just want to save a few bucks like everyone else.

I have a feeling you'll probably come up a bit short of 6 people. I'd *love* to have a lift, but I dont' think you can put those in college dorm rooms? O_O

Good luck. If you can get 4 or 5 total maybe you can go back to them and be like "Hey...I tried, wanna sell 5 of them?"
