I have an 86 F150 and there is this stupid blank spot above the radio. Some had an xlt emblem there, but even that seems kinda lame to me. I was thinking it would look cool with 4 toggle switches mounted there, and the black color of the "plate" over the silver would almost look like a custom switch panel after installed.
Only problem, I don't know what I could hook up 4 switches too. I don't have any power accessories (like windows or locks) or extra lights.
It would really be lame to have 4 switches that didn't do anything!
nick....For a toggle switch ignition, you'd need at least 2 (one to simulate the key being in the RUN position, and a spring-loaded switch for the starter), and maybe a third for the accessories only being on. A fourth that is pretty common would be an electric fan, if you have one or are planning on ever getting one. I guess it could also be for your headlights or radio. Just some ideas.
