Explaination Of Casting Numbers

Wasn't sure where this thread fit, so I put it here in General Discussion.

I found the best description of Ford casting numbers I've ever seen, and thought I'd share the page with you guys.

Because we used to then stopped doing it.

Besides, It gives me an opportunity to make a contribution to a thread when there is a short break in administrative duties.

I don't get much of an opportunity to answer Tech questions anymore,,,,,,,,,I
mean my post count (not that it matters) is down .

Barry ....Don't you think that one page looks like he copied the one I psosted but changed the background colour?

Dennis, afaict everybody copies each other on this stuff.

Funny thing is I think the hammar page (Mustang Mike) was first before Mr. F's. I've had that bookmarked for quite a few years.
