CPU re-set

I have a 1986 4x4 ranger with the 2.9 V6

I am installing a new Ox sensor and need to reset the computer, does anyone know how?

Theres no need to do it, but you can remove the negative battery cable for a few minutes to reset it.

At least for 15 mins or it might not work. It has to drain the stored up current.
