Question EFI problems

I've got a '88 TBird with a 2.3 Turbo. It started running rough today at idle and on acceleration, but still drivable, like it was missing on one cylinder. Tried changing the plugs with little or no effect. Plugs looked good. Only has one fuel pump and it runs when you first turn the key on. The cap, rotor and wires are fairly new. I have a slight smell of gas when it is running but not bad. Could I have possibly a bad injector?????? Ran a fault code and the only thing I came up with was a 77......Wide Open Throttle Not Sensed During Test. I know this not a truck question, but I follow the older truck and engine forums and wanted to give you guys a try. Any help appreciated!!!!!!!

If I remember correctly, the WOT switch was the older version of the Throttle Position Sensor, so if that's the case, a lousy reading from said faulty switch would dump extra fuel into the cylinders.

If the signal isn't present, period, then the computer is running on a preset value and it's basically guessing it's way right now.

Find the gas leak before you burn up the car. Then do a pressure check on the fuel pressure.

You could always buy the 2.3 Turbo motor that's sitting in my garage
