lol duane i was loading my stuntbike up and didnt realize that the ditch was filling up that quickly...oops...i was STUCK like chuck, 20's and i was still on the axle
Just wanted to fallow up and let you guys know what I had ened up doing. I had ended up putting the Flowmaster 50 Delta Flowmuffler and stuck with 2.5 pipes and just placed a chrome tip on the pipes. As for what it sounds like, it does rumble away and I can feel the extra punch it gives, If I wasnt living in Los Angeles, CA I would have most likely would have gone with the Flowmaster 40
No the 40 is okay in CA but here in LA Busa01 you just dont want to draw to mush attention from the Man, and as for the tips they are stainless, The guy who put it in is a hard core hott roder and I wanted to go with 3.0 pipes and he was really honest and said
I'm better off with the 2.5 pipes and encouraged me to stick with the 50 rather than the 40's. all in all I had paid $93 for the muffler and $37 for the Stainless tip and $40 for the labor tax and all in all $180 total
Cat-back just means its new piping from the cat converter back to the tip. IE, you cut the going into your stock muffler, and rip all that off, then install new muffler and pipes, then tips, and done.
Well..It would be pointless to buy the kit if youve already got the muffler on. The kit is literally everything to do it. Of course you could give that guy a shout and tell him you wanna replace the stock stuff. I just think the cat back looks more asthetically *sp* pleasing. You know, aluminum or stainless steel from the cat to the Tip!!
