Tranny code K

OK, I know you all are sick of hearing this, but I've looked for an answer unsuccessfully for long enough. I can't find an all inclusive resource for tranny codes. Even in my chiltons. I believe I have a C6, but need to know for sure. 1988 F350 Diesel 4x4. Code K.

I doubt you have a c-6 with a diesel
i bet you have a e4od. Is it a 3 speed with o/d? or is it a 3 speed without o/d?

3sp w/o od. It is definitely a c6. I just did a fluid and filter change.

My 89 spec book shows it to be a C6 although the codes do change sometimes from year to year. I have an 88 spec book coming in the mail anyday. Will look when it gets here.
