WOW this is a long thread!
Anyway, I think I've got everyone beat in the opposite direction. My 86 F150 is going to be due for an oil change around the end of this month when it hits 43,000 miles.
4X4, flareside, original black paint (nice!) NO rust. 302 EFI 4 speed. Sat outside for about 5 years but its my garage kept daily driver now. I still only put about 6K a year on it. It had 33K when I started driving it!

1999 V10 3.73 Auto CC 4x4 106,000 miles - engine replaced at 43,000 using the cold engine piston slap excuse. Still hear the same noise. Replacement engine has lost all coolant twice due to block heater popping out. Engine is fine. Just remember to look out the mirror when downshifting to second gear under hard towing. Started using synthetic oil when the ZDDP was removed from conventional oil. Tow 5000 lb travel trailer about 10 weekends a year and 4000 lb payload about 10 times a year. Sometimes both at the same time. Auto tranny seems okay. Will get a manual next truck. I only want a turbocharger at 7000 feet towing uphill with a headwind at 75 MPH in 100 degree heat (low air density) - Can't maintain velocity in 3rd so redline in 2nd it is. Figure 50 more HP with the 3V V10 and a six speed with 4.10:1 will be golden.
