big decision

if any of you have seen my truck in my gallery, you probably know
that ive cut just about every inch of sheet metal and then some.
but i got a new one. since im going all custom hot rod theme flames and all,im curious what everyone thinks. now i know its my truck and i do practice what i preach about doing my own thing but this is big and its my first project. im thinking about filling in
my cowl vent and putting a shelby mustang hood scoop on the tilt front end. molding it in smooth and making it functional.
input would be great on what you all think..thanks...

If you can find me a pic of a truck, scoop and what ever else you'd like to see, I'd digitally graft the scoop on for you. Just let me know, I might even help find the pics -4speed

Well in that case, My personal opioion is that it'll make the front end "too busy" . Although exactly what scoop are we talking about? This one looks cool

either would still look cool, but I myself like a clean truck. Making it functional would be fairly easy, just a small tray that goes on the carb, a square or round element(the K&N with the open top) and some foam ducting would be all you need. The 350 should provide plenty of room for scoop ducting. -4speed

I think you will start making the front of the truck to heavy only because you already have a pretty good chop and the scoop would make the windshield appear even smaller.

How about having some louvers stamped into a sheet of steel and then molding those onto the hood?

Your right do whatever makes you happy.
