Oil additives are Snake Oil today. Oil formulas don't need anything added to them. My 2014 Flex with the 3.5 Ecoboost has 176,000 miles on it, I looked down the oil fill and can see the rockers and the engine is spotless. 30 years ago though engines with that many miles would be caked with soot and sludge and needed all the help they could get. There was a time and place for them, but not today.

You want a good chuckle, go google a VOA of most brand of additives.... most of them are a bunch of nothing.

Looks like Hot Shots "Powered by Science" marketing theme for the nano lubricant has been proven by "Science" is not worth your money. Again not surprised about a poor showing for a Hot Shots product and possibly could connect the dots to their EDT fuel treatment product.
