Now I'm just bragging! As soon as my son passed his driver's test, he hopped into the '79 F-150 and took it for a drive. He drives it every day to and from work.

Does he have to pay for the gas? Hope he doesn't have a long commute! Seriously, though, that's cool. Teach the younger generation about these trucks!

Lucky, my dad had a 79 that he bought new that he sold in like 2009 or so. I'd love to have had it now.

The commute is 2 miles...and the farm has a gas tank, so he escapes that cost!
