Excursion frame/bumper

Excursion frame/bumper

I got hit buy a truck tonight, nothing bad. I noticed the bar under my bumper is bent down is this something to be worried about?

That horizontal bar is a crash bar, which is meant to keep you from riding up the back of a car should you rear end a car that is shorter than the X. With it bent down like that, I'd be checking the brackets that it mounts to and the frame, which the brackets bolt to. Chances are, one of the front sections is either bent up or down; OR, the bracket that hold the bar to the frame is crushed on one side or bent down (extended) on the other.

So, short answer, it depends on what's actually bent.

EDIT: Looking at the pictures again, it doesn't appear that the tow points are out of line, so you may have gotten lucky that the frame is not bent up.
