Wonderous Weekend Eve Washington, Tim, Wayne, Steve, Ken and all the crew. It is almost time to start the weekend eve party.
It has been a pretty nice week in my woods with a little rain Tuesday but most of the time it has been in the 70's, 80's and yesterday 93° with full hot sun. Today will be on the cooler side at 81°, overcast and rain/storms move in early evening and last into the first of the week.

I had my yearly physical yesterday my blood pressure is a little high, PSA test is good at 1.7, and my cholesterol is a little on the high side, but other than that it sounds like I'm going to live a little longer. He did put me on some blood pressure medicine, they wanted me on it last year, but I didn't do it.
We put together another raised garden bed today, from left over old wooden fence posts, lined with metal flashing.

Sensational Saturday morning Washington, Leader Tim, Ken, Wayne, Steve and all the crew. Tim, glad you passed with almost flying colors and will be hanging around a little longer.
I see what is holding the shovel and who is behind the camera.
It will be a soggy weekend in my woods but 60's at night and 70's in the day. This should make what we have planted grow.

Hit the ground running today. After a little bite to eat and before it started raining, Maria and I thought we would get out and weed eat the hillside across from the shop and house. No more then we started and it started to rain, lightly but rain non the less. About two hours later we were done, wet and tired but we were done. It's a step hillside also so being wet, made it a tad slick.
Came in for a change of clothes and some lunch and then off to celebrate a friend's 50 year celebration of working at the same location. This gal started at the local newspaper while she was in high school and is still working. The guy who owns the paper now, joked that we would all be back in another to to celebrate her retirement!

Good morning WA...Happy Sunday!!! A soggy day here...hope MA Nature is treating you better!!!
Tim...hope you enjoyed the celebration. Lots of newspapers going out of business due to the interweb...hope this one lives on. The local rag is experiencing serious issues after continuously publishing since 1792.
Hope y'all have a great day!!!
