OEM trailer camera plug wiring

I've been looking for a trailer camera option to use with my new 2024 F350 Lariat. I have all of the camera and towing packages, but for some reason was only able to order the trailer TPMS *or* camera option with the truck. I went with the TMPS, and now I'm looking for a camera option. Reading through some threads (like this one and this one and this one) and looking over the TPMS kit, it looks like I have everything I need to install the camera via the TPMS harness other than the camera itself and the extension wire.

However, I don't really have a good way to install the OEM camera other than running the cable externally, and I'd really rather not do that if I can avoid it. There are some solutions in those threads about wireless setups, but none of them seem to be using the TMPS harness. I think some standard 12v automotive cameras with RCA cabling should work and be understood by the AUX camera option, but I need information about the wiring diagram for the plug. I'm specifically looking for info on the C4005 connector in the wiring harness. It looks like a Molex 8 pin connector like this. Out the back there are 8 wires, from the top it is thick brown, thin gray/purple, thin green/purple, thick white, and the bottom is thick brown, thin white, thin white/brown, thin black.

Does anyone know where I could find what these wires are? I specifically need the 12v+, ground, video+ and video-, but I'm also curious what the other 4 wires are for, as I don't know what they are doing in the camera plug.

Were you ever able to figure this out? I am running into the same issue right now.

Some people had some suggestions for wireless setups, but ultimately I just bit the bullet and ran the hardwired harness to the end of the trailer.

I have no complaints about the process, and am very happy with how it turned out - the wired connection is far more stable and just works, where the wireless options I tried kept cutting out. I strongly recommend just using the existing ford camera harness, it works great.

I have the factory wiring and camera and plan on using it. I have a 2022 camera with a 2023+ wiring harness and the camera connecters don't match. Thats the reason for a wiring diagram so I can splice them together. Thank you!
