Hello Everyone

I’m new here due to the recent purchase of a 2003 F250. My plans are to use it as the foundation for a small slide in camper. I’m on my way to the appropriate forum group to see if someone can decode the numbers on my front axle. Look forward to learning ….a lot! Kim Tate, metro New Orleans.

Hi, Ktate!
I'm new, too.
My hubby has to deal with a fed case, so the mechanic stuff is in my lap now (eek!), and he always finds weird vehicles. We had a Ford van that was the ONLY one of its kind a few years ago...axle-free 1-wheel drive for offroad rockhopping and all kinds of other strangeness...
Anyway, welcome, and well wishes!

See, mine's not actually a truck (it's a Crown Vic) but I'm making it work like one (read:towing) and it seems to be overdone in some features which make it more like a truck in terms of working on it. One of my main research/ advice needs here is learning if/what parts for trucks (especially in terms of towing accessories type items) might be interchangeable?

Wow, that's a sight!

If that's a former police car, you probably won't find parts from pickups that do a better job than what it already has.
